JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT: Operations

JOB TITLE: Office Manager/Bookkeeper

REPORTS TO: CEO

JOB PURPOSE: This position would Help manage the office and provide accounting support to the CEO/Board

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and maintain operation supplies
  • Assist with larger volunteer groups
  • Assist CEO and Operations Manager with projects
  • Assist with hiring new staff as needed
  • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • Use QuickBooks to write any checks for payments.
  • Prepares financial reports and prepares and processes payroll.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience, Competencies and Education

  • Management experience
  • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Experience in working with nonprofits is preferred.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks
  • Ability to deal with donors and volunteers

Work Hours. This position is a full-time position. Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday morning.
