Partner Touts Trusted World Network Impact
Dallas-based “Anthem Strong Families” is one of those partners committed to educating, equipping, and empowering men, women, and young people to value and learn to strengthen the family unit.
The organization highlighted the Trusted World partnership in their holiday newsletter, saying they’re thankful to have helped more than 50 families since joining the network just seven months ago.
“It definitely makes our workload that much lighter,” says Anthem Strong Families, Jasmine Carr.
Her face lights up when talking about the Trusted World partnership. She and her colleagues recently held a clothing drive because they’re thankful they no longer need to scrounge for quality clothing, food, or personal care items. They use the Trusted World Partner Portal. The specific items ordered are made available within 48 hours and at no cost. “You can even ask for preferred colors, and so to say, oh, this is my son’s favorite color. It is just impactful. And I think the icing on the cake is the handwritten card saying, “you’re special,” “You can do it.” “It’s a brighter day!” “I think that you can not only see the logistical efficiency of Trusted World, but you can also see the special touches. I can remember working with a mother with four children with one on the way.”
Helping that family, Carr says, without Trusted World would have been impossible. “Being able to work with partners like Trusted World and order clothing for her, not only for her but also her four children and the baby on the way, was just so impactful,” she says.
“We were able to provide her with those clothing that was exact to her size, exact to her children’s size. And even came with a bag with her children’s names on it.”
Carr builds trust by providing clients with quality resources on demand, and “it strengthens the relationships that we have with our clients that go through our workshops.” For that, she says, “we are grateful. It allows us to focus on our jobs, which is working with the clients in these workshops and working on changing their mindsets and empowering them to impact themselves and also impacts their families.”
She’s grateful for the partnership, saying, “There is so much need in our communities, and I am so happy that Trusted World is here. Thank you, Trusted World, for all that you all do!”
Trusted World Network partners don’t need clothes closets or food pantries, which Carr says reduces stress and allows her to focus on helping more clients.
