Sponsorships Matter — And Make an Impact

Trusted World’s newest sponsor is excited by the community impact numbers –just two months into the partnership.  Santander Bank donated 140- thousand dollars to fund a year-long sponsorship of Trusted World’s SouthEast Dallas route; it’s one of the most impoverished areas in North Texas. The head of Santander’s Consumer USA Foundation talks about why it partnered with Trusted World, “We really learned about Trusted World during the pandemic when there was such a great need, and Trusted World just took the responsibility to serve people, and we’re glad to be partners and thankful for the opportunity.”

Suzanne Massey, the head of Santander’s Community USA Foundation, says it’s committed to making a difference. “We’ve done a lot of investments philanthropically in South Dallas and Southern Dallas, and we’re just so proud to be a part of the South and Southeast route for Trusted World.”

Massey says Trusted World is a good fit for several reasons, “Trusted World created efficiencies within nonprofits using data and logistics, utilized software systems in order to get things to people in situational poverty in a very short period of time.”

Trusted World data shows Santander’s impact in route five for the first two months exceeds the annual donation. From November first through December thirty-first, Trusted World provided $204 thousand of resources directly impacting the lives of more than one thousand North Texans. Massey says, “It’s a new relationship, and we look forward to it growing and growing.”

Having Resources Makes Serving a Reality

Here’s a heartwarming story of partner impact from a new Trusted World Network partner, the Anna Police Department. Police say they received a ‘letter to Santa’, over the holidays –not from a child but from a mother of eight children. She wasn’t asking for toys or anything extravagant, simply clothes and shoes for her children aged five to nineteen.

They all lived in the same house, and police say the family had recently fallen on hard times. An officer contacted the family and got the list of items the children needed, along with specific sizes.

The officer ordered the items through Trusted World’s online Partner Portal and delivered eight bags of resources to an overjoyed and extremely appreciative family. The officers say they’re grateful to have access to resources like that to help others when they see the need.

You Can Make a Difference

If you’d like to help make a difference, you can go to TrustedWorld.org, and under the ways to give link, you can click on the Amazon Wish List to find food and clothing items the Network needs.

For clothing donations, one of our key sponsors, the Credit Union of Texas, has a dropoff bin in every one of their North Texas branch locations. Next to the bin is a banner with a QR code if you’d like to make a monetary donation. You’ll find a complete list of dropoff bin locations on the Trusted World website.
